Add and manage products (SKUs) under each company and product group. Uses a grid-based layout for bulk editing.

How to Use

➕ Adding a New Row

Open Product Setup from the menu
Select the filter dropdown (Company → Group) if applicable
Click New to add a blank row at the bottom of the grid
Fill in the required columns
Press F12 or click Save

✏️ Editing Existing Rows

Select the row you want to edit in the grid
Click on the cell and modify the value
Modified rows will turn light yellow
Press F12 or click Save to save all changes

Field Descriptions

Company Required

Select the company this product belongs to from the top dropdown. Changing the company reloads the Group list.

Group Required

Select the product group within the selected company. Changing the group reloads the product grid below.

Product Search Optional

Type to filter products by name in the grid.

Active Only Checkbox

When checked, only active (non-deleted) products are shown in the grid.

Grid Columns

Column Type Required Description

Product Name Text ✅ Full name of the product/medicine. Must be unique within the company.

TP (Trade Price) Number ✅ Trade price of the product. Must be ≤ RP.

RP (Retail Price) Number ✅ Retail (MRP) price of the product.

Dist % Number Distribution percentage / margin for the distributor.

Description Text Additional product description or notes.

External Code Text External code for integration with other systems. Auto-generated if blank.

Detail ⓘ Button Opens a popup with additional product details: Short Name, Generic, Category, Supplier, UOM, HS Code, SRO Schedule, Image, and more.

Tax ⓘ Button Opens the product tax configuration popup to set GST and WHT rates for this product. Color-coded: Red = Both, Orange = GST, Green = WHT, None = No Tax.

Active Checkbox Active status. Uncheck to hide from sale dropdowns. Requires pdel permission.

Buttons

Button	Shortcut	What it Does
💾 Save	F12	Saves all changes. The system will ask for confirmation before saving.
➕ New	F5	Adds a new blank row to the grid for data entry.
❌ Close	Esc	Closes the Product Setup screen.

Important Notes

ℹ️

TP ≤ RP: Trade Price cannot be greater than Retail Price. The system will block the save if TP > RP.

Tax Color Codes: In the Tax column: Red = GST + WHT, Orange = GST only, Green = WHT only.

Product Name Must Be Unique: Duplicate product names within the same company are not allowed.
