Define reasons for product returns that are selected during Sale Return and Purchase Return transactions.
How to Open
Menu → Setups → Reason

How to Use
➕ Adding a New Row
- Open Return Reason Setup from the menu
- Select the filter dropdown if applicable
- Click New to add a blank row at the bottom of the grid
- Fill in the required columns
- Press F12 or click Save
✏️ Editing Existing Rows
- Select the row you want to edit in the grid
- Click on the cell and modify the value
- Modified rows will turn light yellow
- Press F12 or click Save to save all changes

Active Only Checkbox
Show only active reasons.

Grid Columns
| Column | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reason Description | Text | ✅ | Text describing the return reason (e.g., EXPIRED, DAMAGED, WRONG PRODUCT). Must be unique. |
| Purchase Return | Checkbox | If checked, this reason appears in the Purchase Return form dropdown. | |
| Sale Return | Checkbox | If checked, this reason appears in the Sale Return form dropdown. | |
| Active | Checkbox | Active status. Inactive reasons are hidden from return forms. |

Buttons
| Button | Shortcut | What it Does |

| 💾 Save | F12 | Saves all changes. The system will ask for confirmation before saving. |
| ➕ New | F5 | Adds a new blank row to the grid for data entry. |
| ❌ Close | Esc | Closes the Return Reason Setup screen. |

Important Notes
Choose the Right Type: A single reason can be used for both purchase and sale returns by checking both checkboxes.
